State Hospital Linen Service
Case Study
Client
NSW Linen Services (HealthShare NSW)
About the Client
HealthShare NSW Linen Services supplies linen to NSW hospitals to support patient care. They provide more than 40,000 tonnes of general and theatre linen each year. They are the largest single supplier of linen to health services in Australia.
Client’s challenge
The client approached Magpie to help them raise awareness of the role they play in the NSW health system and the size and complexity of their Linen Services operation. They wanted their audience to experience just how impressive their state-wide operation is.
Our Solution
Magpie Creative created the story of “Ron’s sheet”. Featuring Ron as our patient, with a nurse changing his sheet, we then follow that sheet from the hospital ward, down to the truck, onto the laundry and then through the washing and drying cycle, before the sheet is returned, crisp and clean, to Ron’s bed.
The Result
The client was extremely happy with the result and has used the video extensively over the past two years to showcase their services to their clients and other NSW Health stakeholders. It has allowed them to impress everyone, from nurses, to hospital administrators, and even their own staff.
